Clinton Community College student leaders were recognized by the CCC Alumni Association at the annual Student Leader Luncheon. These 16 students were nominated by the CCC staff and faculty for showing leadership in the classroom, on campus and in the community. Clinton Community College is one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges which includes Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges. Thursday, May 02, 2024“Drumming for Peace”
The Clinton Peace Coalition & Living Peace 365 organization will be hosting a “Drumming for Peace” event on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at The S.O.L.E. 209 5th Ave. S, from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm. The event is free, family friendly, and open to all ages. Participants are free to bring their own drums if they have them. To register for the event, please call 563-321-5190. Registration is not required, but encouraged.
Tuesday, April 30, 2024River City Municipal Band Begins its 36th Summer Season with Rehearsals Starting Monday, May 6
The River City Municipal Band (RCMB) begins its 35th summer season with band rehearsals starting Monday, May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Clinton Middle School band room. The band will rehearse weekly on Mondays, with the season running through July 27. All area musicians are invited to come join the volunteer community band. Clinton Community College has announced the winners of the 2024 High School Fine Arts Day , part of the Community College Month celebration. Area students were invited to submit their artwork in three categories – painting, drawing, and graphic design. Winners of each categories received a 3-credit on campus art course funded through the CCC Paul B. Sharar Foundation. Monday, April 29, 2024CCC announces new members to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Clinton Community College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society held an induction ceremony for new members on March 4. Forty eight members were inducted into the CCC Alpha Theta Beta Chapter. Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa if they have achieved a 3.5 grade point and earned 12 credit hours. Clinton Community College is one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, which includes Muscatine Community College and Scott Community College.
